Jaguars Inactives: Who’s Ruled Out vs. Patriots

Jacksonville (1-1) eyes a near-clean sheet heading into its Week 3 clash with the New England Patriots (1-1). The Jaguars’ injury report leaves much to be content with as they are healthy minutes away from an important test.

Sunday’s inactives list includes wide receiver C.J. Williams, safety Jalen Huskey, linebacker Jack Kiser, offensive lineman Daniel Faalele, defensive end Wesley Williams and defensive tackle Albert Regis.

Regis has been dealing with an elbow injury and is the only injured player to not suit up for Sunday’s contest.

Huskey, Williams and Faalele have failed to take the field for the Jaguars and have landed on the inactives slate through the first three weeks of the season. Faalele was sent over from Baltimore in the offseason, but has not seen any action..

The Jaguars’ Friday injury report listed a slew of limited participants in practice, but all are good to go for Sunday. Defensive tackle Davon Hamilton (back), cornerback Christian Braswell (knee) and running back LeQuint Allen Jr. (hip) were kept to a minimum in the practice.

While spotted on the injury report earlier in the week, linebacker Branson Combs, center Robert Hainsey, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and tackle Cole Van Lanen were all full participants Friday and are set to face New England.

Jacksonville will gear up for its top-AFC showdown with kickoff from EverBank Stadium. Coverage is on 98.1-FM/850-AM WRUF at noon and on CBS at 1 p.m.
