Florida Adds Top National Talent To Women’s Swimming 2025 Class

The Florida swimming and diving program has signed nine student-athletes to its 2025 recruiting class. The group includes five swimmers for the women’s team, two for the men’s team and two divers.

Five standout swimmers will join the women’s team: Lilla Bognar, Lynsey Bowen, Zuri Ferguson, Grace Rabb and Sylvia Statkevicius. Each brings national-level experience to a team that ranks among the best in college swimming.

Bognar, a U.S. junior national team member, qualified for the 2024 U.S. Olympic trials. She placed third in the 400 individual medley at the 2023 Speedo Junior Nationals.

Bowen enters as a top-30 national recruit and will add strength in distance freestyle events. Ferguson and Rabb bring speed and flexibility to the sprint and butterfly events. Statkevicius, an international swimmer, offers a strong range in freestyle.

On the men’s side, Florida adds Jordan Willis and Marvin Johnson Jr. Both will compete in several events and boost the team’s depth for the 2025 season.

Florida also signed two divers: Jesus Agundez and Ava Brinkman. Agundez joins the men’s team and Brinkman will compete for the women. Both are expected to strengthen the Gators’ diving unit. The group continues to grow as a key part of Florida’s success in the Southeastern Conference and NCAA meets.
