The University of Florida is gearing up for yet another weekend of home sport activity. This weekend will feature a variety of sports, from SEC matchups to a taste of fall football in the spring and celebrating the national champions.
Friday: Rivalries and SEC Battles
Things will kick off Friday afternoon with the women’s tennis team taking on LSU in a key SEC matchup at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex. Opening serve is set for 5 p.m. The Gators look to gain some improvement in SEC standings, with a current record of 4-9 in conference play.
Over at Exactech Arena, Florida volleyball will take on Florida State in a spring season matchup beginning at 5 p.m. This is the second to last match of the Gators spring season.
To close out the night, Florida baseball will take on the Missouri Tigers. This is their second game of the three-game series at Condron Family Ballpark. First pitch set for 6:30 p.m. The Gators look to improve their 1-11 conference record when playing the Tigers.
Saturday: Gator Football Returns and Basketball Celebrations
The annual Orange and Blue game is set to take place Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Florida Victorious, the official NIL partner of the Gators, is sponsoring this event, and fans can join in on the action with pregame festivities beginning at 10 a.m.
The celebrations will continue for the 2025 Men’s Basketball National Champions, Florida Gators, as they will host one final celebration prior to football kickoff. Official timing has not been announced.
Wrapping up Saturday, Florida baseball will close out the three-game series against Missouri for a 5 p.m. showdown.

Sunday: SEC Tennis Showdown
This weekend will round out with women’s tennis hosting SEC opponent University of Mississippi. First serve is set for 1 p.m. In this series, the Gators have won the last 18 matchups against the Rebels with the last match in March 2024 where the Gators secured a 4-3 victory.
From baseball to tennis and volleyball, to the return of football and celebrating the recent champions, the weekend is set to be action-packed.
