Theresa Bragg

Florida captain, Bragg earned her second defender of the week award so far this season. Against Clemson, she posted two ground balls and two caused turnovers. She was a huge asset in shutting down Clemson’s top scorer Lindsey Marshall, only allowing her to score one goal for the Tigers.

So far this season, Bragg leads the team with 16 caused turnovers and has collected 12 ground balls.

Kaitlyn Davies

This is Davies‘ first Big 12 Midfielder of the Week honors and first award of the season. Davies secured a career high of four goals, five caused turnovers, three ground balls, and five draw controls against Clemson.

In a single game, she became only the second player in Florida history to record at least three goals, three ground balls, five caused turnovers, and five draw controls.

Through nine games this season, the captain has had 20 goals, two assists, 10 caused turnovers, 11 ground balls, 14 draws, and four hat-tricks.

Gabby Greene

This marks Greene’s first freshman of the week award this season. She had two goals, two ground balls, and three draws against the Tigers.

Greene has scored nine goals, one assist, six ground balls, three caused turnovers, and 15 draw controls so far this season. Greene is the third Gators freshman to earn this award.

What’s Next for Florida

Florida will travel to Philadelphia to face No. 15 University of Pennsylvania Wednesday at noon. On Friday, the team will be on the road again taking on UC Davis at 9 p.m.
