Santa Fe College’s baseball and softball teams are in full swing. This past week both programs delivered stellar performances on the field to produce competitive results and boost their record.

Baseball
The Saints (16-18 overall) split their winnings this past week, successfully securing two wins out of their four games. The Saints prevailed against Florida State College 8-5 on Tuesday. They lost the three-game series against College of Central Florida after falling to the Patriots on Thursday (11-1) and the final game of the doubleheader on Saturday (13-12).
SFC has four games this week, including a standalone rematch Tuesday against Florida State College at Jacksonville starting at 2 p.m. and a three-game series on Thursday and Saturday against Seminole State College. The first game of the series will be on the road for the Saints starting at 2 p.m., with the last two back home at 12:30 and 4 p.m.
Softball
The Santa Fe College softball team has been on a successful run. Clinching decisive back-to-back series wins against College of Central Florida and Miami Dade College, the Saints have created a six-game win streak. With this, the Saints jump to an overall record of 21-12 and conference record of 11-7 on the season.

The Saints have consecutive doubleheaders this week with Daytona State College on Tuesday and Indian River State College on Saturday. They will take the road for their first series against a tough Daytona State College team (24-10). The first game of the doubleheader is set to begin at 2 p.m. on Daytona State’s softball complex with the second game following shortly after at 4 p.m.
They’ll be back on their home field on Saturday for their matchup against Indian River State, which has not been defeated since March 4. The games will take place at 1 and 3 p.m. on SF Softball Field.
