Gators Men’s Tennis Travels To Take On Texas A&M

Florida Gators men’s tennis is traveling to College Station, Texas, to take on SEC opponent No. 15 Texas A&M on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Gators men’s tennis is looking to recover from its back-to-back SEC losses against Texas on Sunday, 5-2, and Oklahoma on Thursday, 4-0. Florida is 8-6 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

Texas A&M is on a two-game win streak. It defeated Oklahoma 4-2 on Sunday and Auburn 5-2 on Thursday. It is 9-5 overall and 3-1 in SEC play.

History

The Gators are 9-11 against Texas A&M in program history. The last time the teams faced each other was on March 1, 2024, resulting in a Florida win 4-0.

ITA Rankings

Three Gators are ranked in the ITA singles rankings: No. 62 Jeremy Jin, No. 90 Henry Jefferson and No. 95 Adhithya Ganesan. UF also has two pairs ranked in the ITA doubles rankings: No. 19 Tanapatt Nirundorn and Jefferson, and No. 68 Nirundorn and Ganesan.

Texas A&M has two players ranked in the ITA singles rankings: No. 38 Theo Papamalamis and No. 45 JC Roddick. They have one team ranked in the ITA doubles rankings: No. 52 Togan Tokac and Papamalamis.
