Gators Women’s Golf Hosts Gators Invitational

The Gators women’s golf team will host the 53rd edition of the Gators Invitational this weekend. The tournament will be held at Mark Bostick Golf Course, a Par 70/6,002-yard course.

Due to inclement weather, the format will be 36 holes on day one, followed by 18 holes on day two. Tee-off will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on both days. Live score updates can be found here.

The Gators will face off against Charlotte, Chattanooga, Eastern Michigan, FAU, FIU, Jacksonville, Mercer, Michigan , No. 15 Ole Miss, South Alabama, No. 31 UCF, USF and No. 11 Virginia.

Previous Gators Invitational

Since 1973, Gainesville has hosted this event both in the fall and spring. As a result, Florida aims to win its 28th overall title (nine under head coach Emily Glaser), especially after failing to secure a win last year and placing 3rd.

Previous Time Out

The Gators came in second at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. Six players finished inside the top-20 and UF gained its seventh top-5 finish of the season.

Ines Archer led the team, ending in 5th place and only four shots back from medalist honors.

Up Next

After the invitational, Florida heads to Tennessee to participate in the Chattanooga Invitational (March 28-29) to end its regular season.

Shortly after, the team will make an appearance at the SEC Championship at the Pelican Golf Club on April 14th.
