In a matchup of two four-win NFC teams, the San Francisco 49ers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1 p.m. today on Fox at Raymond James Stadium.
The 49ers (4-4) are coming off a bye week, so they should be well rested and be ready to play in the road game.
The injury report is extensive for both teams and headlined by Niners running back Christian McCaffrey, who is listed as questionable. However, according to coach Kyle Shanahan, the star is expected to return and make his season debut.

San Francisco had a much higher expectation for this season. However, the team hopes the return of McCaffery will help to elevate them to the next level of play.
Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers
The Buccaneers (4-5) are coming off an overtime battle against the reigning Super Bowl champs Kansas City Chiefs. While the team is staying afloat, quarterback Baker Mayfield is having an exceptional season. He is first in the league in touchdowns with 23. He also has the second-most passing yards in the NFL with 2,389 and is third in completion percentage.

“I’ve always respected his game, his mindset, the way that his teammates talk about him, the leadership, the competitiveness man. He’s just a dog, so he’s gonna fight.” #Rearview pic.twitter.com/w4711vXnxK

Mayfield has dealt with a toe injury this week, but returned to practice Friday. He is expected to play today.
While the 49ers are favored to win, the game should be a close one. ESPN Bet gives the Niners a -6.5 spread with a 53.5% chance of winning the game.
