Ram Tough
Eastside wasted no time setting the tone early by scoring just one minute into the game when freshman tight end Jordan Johnson scored an 60-yard touchdown on a pass from quarterback Andrew Sutherland.
Shortly after, Eastside’s special teams blocked a Saints’ punt. EHS running back Corvin Byrd completed the drive with a short rushing touchdown to extend the lead to 14-0 with 6:10 left in the first quarter.
Eastside held a commanding 24-7 lead at halftime.
The Rams controlled the tempo through the second half, allowing only a field goal before closing the game.

Eastside coach “Gator” Hoskins praised his team’s performance.
“Always good to get a win under your belt,” Hoskins said. “We started off fast, fell back a bit in the second half, but were able to pull out the win.”
Eastside continues to build as it prepares to enter the state playoffs. The Rams look solid both offensively and defensively.
