Florida has played extraordinarily well this season, posting a 12-3 record and currently sit No. 14 in the rankings. Most notably, Florida has particularly dominated on the road this year as they enter play with a  5-0 record away from the O’Connell Center and hope to keep that streak intact.

As for the Bulldogs, they’ve struggled with an 8-8 record and a 1-5 record against SEC opponents this season. It is also worth noting that Florida holds a 55-1 series advantage over Mississippi State and have thrived under Gators head coach Mary Wise with a 46-1 record during her tenure thus far.

Previous Games

Florida is coming off a 3-0 victory over Alabama whereas Mississippi State fell to Texas A&M which resulted in their 4th consecutive loss.

Offensive Stats

With Florida getting a lot of productivity on the court, keep an out on the roster lineup and notable players during tonight’s game. Kennedy Martin is riding the hot hand with at least 10 kills, moving her into 15 straight games in that department.

As for starting libero, Elli McKissock is on milestone watch. The senior now sits in Florida’s record books with a total of 1,428 career digs. McKissock, jumped over Marcie Hampton and Allie Gregory in that category after a star-studded performance against Texas A&M dating back to September 27th. McKissock has undoubtedly been an integral memeber of the Gators and has played a vital role in the team’s roaring success. Keep an eye out for these key assets during tonight’s game and moving forward throughout the season.

Recap

There is no denying the excitement surrounding Florida’ performance this season and the level of intensity that has been on display. With that said, make sure to catch all the action on SEC network as Florida looks to build on this stellar 2023 season.
