Fantasy Football Week 4 Booms & Busts

Fantasy Booms

QB Josh Allen and WR Stefon Diggs: Allen was nearly perfect during his Week 5 matchup against the highly talented Miami Dolphins. He put on a show, throwing for 320 yards, four touchdowns and an additional score on the ground. He did all of this without turning the ball over, which is a worry given his play style. Diggs found himself becoming a main contributor to the success of his QB, catching six passes for 120 yards and three touchdowns.

RB David Montgomery: The Green Bay Packers had no answer for Montgomery this past Thursday night as he ran wild for fantasy owners. He had 32 carries for 121 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 20 yards receiving.

Next Matchup: Carolina Panthers

D/ST Seattle Seahawks: The New York Giants continue to allow opposing defenses to have a field day against them, as the Seahawks looked like they were back to their Legion of Boom days. The defense had two total interceptions, two forced fumbles and one defensive touchdown. Eleven sacks were also added onto the big night for the defense.

On a Bye Week

Busts

RB Raheem Mostert: After a historic performance by the Dolphins’ offense a week before, Mostert went from a fantasy high to a fantasy low. Against the Bills’ defense, he only carried the ball seven times for 36 yards. Additionally, a fumble was lost as well. Miami’s other RB, De’Von Archane, performed well, so keep an eye out for the rookie to possibly keep getting the majority of action.

Next Matchup: New York Giants

QB Joe Burrow and RB Joe Mixon: Burrow and Mixon continue to find trouble finding their rhythm this season. This week, Burrow only threw for 165 yards without a touchdown. He also lost a fumble. The running game did not go any better as Mixon only ran 14 times for 67 yards and no touchdowns.

Next Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

TE George Kittle: The 49ers tight end has yet to find his breakout game of the season. This week was no different, as he hauled in one catch for a whomping nine yards. Fantasy owners might need to find a reliable back up tight end for now.

Next Matchup: Dallas Cowboys
