The Florida Gators defeated the Gamecocks in South Carolina on Sunday, 3-1. The Gators secured the win in set four, bringing home another SEC volleyball win.
Sealed the Deal in Four
The Gators (11-2, 3-1 SEC) took the first two sets 25-19, 25-19.
The Gamecocks (6-7, 0-4) came back to take set three. South Carolina was able to take the lead at 15-14 before pulling ahead and held onto that lead until 19-16. The Gators were able to secure back the lead until the Gamecocks came through and won the game 25-23.
The Gators were able to secure the fourth set win 25-20 to end the match.

Florida hit .347 this match
To no surprise, the offense for the Gators was led by Kennedy Martin, AC Fitzpatrick and Sofia Victoria. Martin posted 15 kills and both Fitzpatrick and Victoria put up 13 of their own.

Kennedy Muff, the setter, helped the Gators with a team-leading .347 through her 44 assists.
Anna Dixon also put up a a team high of seven blocks. Nnedi Okammor followed with her six6 blocks and five from Martin.

On the backcourt, Elli McKissock had 12 digs.

The Gators host the No. 24 Auburn Tigers on Friday. This is the second time the Gators face the Tigers this season, after taking the win in five sets more than a week ago. The game will begin at 7 p.m. on SEC+ and ESPN 98.1-FM/850-AM WRUF.
