The Miami Marlins snuck past the San Francisco Giants with a 4-3 victory Monday night. Jorge Soler’s pinch-hit two-run home run in the seventh inning sealed Miami’s come-from-behind victory.
Early Lead
The Giants held the lead the entire game; that is, until the seventh inning.
Heliot Ramos put the Giants on the board in the second with his first career RBI. His second year on the team, Ramos secured the early lead for San Francisco.
Teammate David Villar extended the lead to 3-0 after sending home two runs in the third. Behind J.D. Davis, Villar is second in RBIs (9) and home runs (3) for San Francisco this season.

Late Heroics
The most talked about moment from this Monday night matchup most certainly came from the seventh inning.
Jorge Soler’s pinch-hit, two-run home run put the Marlins on top for the first time all night.
Redemption came for Soler, after being 0-for-10 with seven strikeouts against Giants’ pitcher Logan Webb. The left fielder also leads Miami in RBIs and home runs with 10 and five, respectively.
