Matchup History
In the Gators and Hatters’ last meeting, Florida took down Stetson 4-1 in DeLand at the Patricia Wilson Field.
The at-the-time No. 8-ranked Florida Gators were on track for a no-hit shutout bid. However, Evette Morgan of Stetson didn’t allow it. With a swing in the bottom of the seventh, Morgan made a drive deep to left center for a homerun.
Despite Stetson’s efforts, Florida rose to the occasion and pressured the Hatter’s defense. Going into the top of the fifth, with Katie Kistler on third and Skylar Wallace on second, Reagan Walsh drilled it. Kistler and Wallace ran down the left line resulting in a two-RBI double.

Gators Since
The Gators fell to the Arkansas Razorbacks in their three-game series.
After losing 2-6 in the first game of the series, the Gators rallied and pulled off a huge victory 11-4.
However, when the final game of the series arrived, Arkansas demolished Florida 1-14. The Gator’s defense could not hold the explosive offense Arkansas brought to the diamond.
Stetson Since
Stetson lost two games in their three-game series with North Florida. After falling 1-5 and 2-5 in the first two games of the series, the Hatters pulled out a tight win 1-0 in the final game.
When the Gators met the Hatters for the first time this season on March 22, Florida entered the game at No. 8. This time around, the Gators will be walking into this mid-week affair ranked No. 11. Florida looks to take another win over Stetson tonight to add to their resume.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
