Gators Baseball
While Florida has played 20 of their 22 games at home this season, they are yet to lose on the road.
They’ve captured blowout wins at South Florida and Jacksonville last month. Florida has won their two road contests by a combined score of 24-9. They enter tonight’s matchup with a 9-1 record in their last 10 games.
Gators Baseball was riding a nine-game win streak before losing the second game of a doubleheader versus #24 Alabama Friday. The Gators have been rising up college baseball’s rankings all season, most recently jumping from #5 to #3.

Florida’s rise has taken place in part because of right-handed pitched Brandon Sproat. Sproat threw a complete-game one-hitter against No. 24 Alabama in the SEC opener last week.
Following his remarkable performance, Sproat was named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week as well as a Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week.

Seminoles Baseball
The Seminoles have been mediocre so far this season, with a record of 12-8.
They’ve struggled to find their identity since the retirement of College Baseball Hall of Fame coach Mike Martin in 2019.
The Seminoles hired Mike Martin Jr. in 2020 to serve as his father’s successor, but he was dismissed after last season. Now FSU Baseball is in the hands of Link Jarrett, who led Notre Dame to fifth place in the College World Series last year.
The Seminoles’ last series was at home versus Boston College. FSU lost the last two series games, finishing with a 1-2 record against BC.
They now come into tonight’s game looking to get back on track.
