The No. 5 Florida Gators Lacrosse team have been on a hot streak this season with several players earning accolades for their record breaking performances. They will be back in action as they’re set to compete against the No. 8 Loyola at Donald R. Dizney Stadium on Saturday.
Gators 2-0 Run
The Gators (3-2) are coming into the match on a two-game winning streak after defeating Furman and Arizona State last week. They beat Furman 20-9 on Tuesday and claimed a 17-12 win on Sunday against Arizona State.
Two of the Gators lacrosse players earned the American Athletic Conference awards this week for their performances in those games. Emma LoPinto and Emily Heller each were named to the ACC Honor Roll. This is LoPinto’s third honor this season while Heller earned her first.
