The Missouri Tigers (19-8) are set to host the Mississippi State Bulldogs (18-9) Tuesday night. Tip-off is set for 7.
The Bulldogs are looking to stay hot after winning four of their last five, while the Tigers are looking to get back in the win-column after losing three of five with back-to-back losses.
Mississippi St.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 69-61 overtime win Saturday against in-state rival Ole Miss. It was a back-and-fourth battle beginning-to-end, with St. down 33-32 at halftime but winning the second half 24-23 to force OT.
And that’s where the Bulldogs were able to take over, outscoring the Rebels 13-5 in the period on their way to the victory – sweeping the season series against the Rebels.

Senior Tolu Smith has been leading Mississippi State all season, first on the team in points (14.9) and rebounds (8).
He isn’t alone, however.
Junior Shakeel Moore has also been a big piece of the Bulldogs’ puzzle, contributing nine points per game to go along with three rebounds and two steals.
Mississippi State now sits 11th in the SEC with a record of 6-8. They’re looking to win out and get over .500 in conference-play heading into the SEC tournament.
They’re currently projected to be an 11-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Missouri
The Tigers are coming off a three-game stretch in which they beat the No. 6-ranked Tennessee Volunteers on a buzzer-beater, but then went on to lose back-to-back games to the Auburn Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies.
Missouri got off to a slow start Saturday, ending the half down 14 points. They were able to crawl back a bit, outscoring the Aggies 35-30 in the second half, but the resurgence came too late as they fell to A&M 69-60.
Seniors Kobe Brown (16.4 ppg) and D’moi Hodge (13.7 ppg) have been strong points for the Tigers.
