As the college football schedule turns into the postseason, TCU will face Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game. They meet in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium with the No. 3 Horned Frogs looking to secure their spot in the College Football Playoff.

The Horned Frogs are one of just three teams in college football that have remained undefeated in the regular season. Their latest win came against against Iowa State, dominating the Cyclones 62-14.

Despite standout receiver Quentin Johnston sitting out due to a lingering ankle injury, TCU took care of business. Junior running back Kendre Miller ran for two touchdowns with 72 yards on the ground.
Quarterback Max Duggan completed 17 of 24 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Duggan was awarded Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and he was announced as the 2022 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award recipient.

In their previous meeting against Kansas State in October, the Horned Frogs defeated the Wildcats 38-28.
Kansas State
The Wildcats won their third-straight game, defeating in-state rival Kansas 47-27 to earn a spot in the Big 12 title game.
The Wildcats opened with a rushing touchdown from Malik Knowles. Though, Kansas responded with a touchdown, but the tie didn’t last for long as the Wildcats outscored the Jayhawks 23-7 in the first quarter. At the end of the second quarter, Kansas brought it to a nine-point game but was held to only one more touchdown for the rest of the contest.
Quarterback Will Howard completed 11 of 21 for 213 yards and two touchdowns.

The Wildcats finished the regular season 9-3 overall and 7-2 in conference play. Their losses on the season came against Tulane, TCU and Texas.
They last played in a Big 12 Championship Game in 2003, and they came out victorious over the Oklahoma Sooners 35-7.
