A pair of 3-1 SEC football teams are set to play Saturday night in LSU and Auburn.
After dropping their first game of the season to Florida State, they have responded with three straight wins under Brian Kelly. Auburn’s lone loss this season came against Penn State but responded with a 17-14 win over Missouri this past weekend.
LSU Key Players
Jayden Daniels of LSU is off to a terrific start to the season. He has thrown for 835 yards with six touchdowns and has yet to be picked off. He has also added 262 yards on the ground and scored two rushing touchdowns.

Malik Nabers leads the teams with 256 receiving yards. Brian Thomas Jr. is second with 197, while Jaray Jenkins and Mason Taylor have at least 100 receiving yards. Defensively, Harold Perkins Jr. has a team-high 21 tackles. LSU has yet to allow more than 24 points in a game and pitched a shutout against New Mexico.
Auburn Key Players
Auburn has a pair of quarterbacks that have thrown for at least 370 yards this season in T.J. Finley and Robby Ashford. However, Finely is listed as day-to-day and missed the team’s last game against Penn State with a shoulder sprain.
Their dominance this season has come from the run game. Tank Bigsby has 281 rushing yards and four touchdowns, Jarquez Hunter also has four touchdowns, and Ashford has rushed for 51 yards per game. Cam Riley, Owen Pappoe, and Derick Hall are the leading tacklers.

This will be the 57th meeting all-time between LSU and Auburn. LSU leads the head-to-head 31-24-1, but Auburn has won the past two meetings. A season ago, Auburn won 24-19 in Baton Rouge after a late touchdown run from Hunter.
