The Big Ten now only has three teams in the new AP Top 25. Ohio State comes in at No. 3, Michigan at No. 4 and Penn State at No. 14.
Exit of top-25
Last week it was Wisconsin, now Michigan State. The Big-10 representation in the Top 25 is now dwindling with the Spartans out of the Top 25 after a loss to Washington on Saturday.
Only Big-10 east teams are representing the conference in the AP Poll.
Penn State
Penn State entered the Top 25 for the first time last week. It had a fantastic performance on the road at Auburn. The game stayed close in the first half as Penn State took a 14-6 lead into the locker room.
As everything clicked, Penn State made a huge statement out of the locker room.
For the game, Sean Clifford was 14 of 19 with 179 yards passing and a rushing touchdown. The run game worked for the Nittany Lions as Nicholas Singleton ran all over the Tiger defense with 10 carries for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
James Franklin and Penn State made a huge statement with a 41-12 win.

Michigan didn’t move this week in the AP Poll despite having another fantastic offense performance as it played UConn, winning 59-0.
It destroyed the Huskies in every facet. It racked up over 450 yards of total offense.
