Mississippi State comes into this weekend’s game looking to extend a two-game winning streak. MSU has been lucky in Humphrey Coliseum and uses the home crowd to it’s advantage. Mississippi State boasts a 14-1 home record, with only one home loss to the now No. 7 Auburn Tigers. Overall, the MSU Bulldogs are 16-6.

According to ESPN’s Basketball Power Index, Mississippi state is favored to win the matchup.

Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs have won every game against Mississippi State since January of 2013, when MSU last came out on top.

Although most expect MSU to put an end to that winning-streak this season, Georgia is coming into the game on a high note after an exciting 72-60 home victory over the Florida Gators.

The Georgia victory on Tuesday was the first since the middle of January, when UGA overcame the LSU Tigers. This weekend, the Bulldogs are hoping to start a win streak of their own and defend their 18-6 winning record against Mississippi State.

Tip-off

This SEC matchup tips off at 6:00p.m. in Humphrey Coliseum with coverage on ESPNU.
