Joakim Noah Speaks Out On 20-Game Suspension.

After a recent failed drug test, Joakim Noah is apologetic for his actions. He has suffered injuries this season and will miss more games due to an over-the-counter supplement on the NBA’s banned substances list. Noah previously played for the Florida Gators and the Chicago Bulls and is now the center for the New York Knicks. This season with the Knicks, Noah has dealt with injuries on top of this 20-game suspension.

The Knicks signed Noah over the summer for a 4-year deal.  However, he won’t be on the court for the Knicks until next season due to the testosterone booster that was found in his system.  Noah who has dealt with a hamstring injury and knee injury and was looking for a way to cope. But this method of coping has cost him playing time.

The Suspension

After a recent knee surgery, his attempt to cope made him fall back instead of move forward. Now, he accepts his punishment by learning from this experience. According to him, taking the supplement was a way to deal with his numerous injuries. Noah has a history of being injured. Last season, he missed 53 games last season due to a shoulder injury and recently had a hamstring injury as well as his recent knee surgery this season.

Noah Apologizes

The only thing that Noah can do at this point is learn from his mistake.  According to the Gainesville Sun, Noah is trying to move forward, ” This was a tough moment, but I’m going to learn from it. I tried to take a supplement to help me with everything I’ve gone through. I’ve gone through a lot of injuries, and I tried to take something to help me and it backfired.” In light of his actions, Noah apologizes to everyone and is ready to accept the consequences.
