After a week of practice coming off a huge 24-10 win over the Georgia Bulldogs, the Florida Gators will now look forward to traveling to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium to take on Arkansas this weekend. Now that it is November, Florida is in a great position to win the SEC East Division, but first they have to get by the 5-3 Razorbacks in front of a rowdy crowd. Coach McElwain says the Gators will control their own destiny in road games like this one.

Coach McElwain gave a few updates at his weekly press conference; one of them being that all running backs will be making the tip to Fayetteville. Sophomore running back Jordan Cronkrite has returned to the team after briefly taking a break, not practicing at all last week and not traveling with the team to Jacksonville to play Georgia. Cronkrite was at practice all week and Coach McElwain confirmed he will be making the trip with the team to Arkansas. Last Thursday, running back Mark Thompson was charged with possession of marijuana, he also did not make the trip to Jacksonville for disciplinary reasons, however he is back with the team full force this week.
Along with suspensions, almost every injured player is back this week for Arkansas. Linebacker Jarrad Davis, who was a game time decision last week with an injured ankle, practiced the entire week and will play against Arkansas. Coach McElwain’s full injury update can be found here.

Florida was ranked No. 11 Tuesday night in the first College Football Playoff Standings. Arkansas did not crack the top 25. The Razorbacks have not beaten the Florida Gators since joining the SEC in 1992, however they have looked impressive this season and could give the Gators a tough time. The Gators now have to win two more conference games in order to be eligible for the SEC Championship in Atlanta on December 3.
This week’s game against Arkansas can be viewed on CBS—with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. You can hear the entire game on ESPN Gainesville 95.3 FM.
