There always seems to be something special in the atmosphere every time the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs meet on the gridiron. Since 1915, there have been 93 games between these two fierce SEC rivals, with Georgia leading the series 49-42-2. These games have had everything with blowouts, upsets, controversial decisions, and overtime being among the few.

With the “World’s Largest Cocktail Party” looming ahead on this upcoming Saturday, it seems appropriate to rank some of the greatest moments in the Florida/Georgia rivalry. They have been listed based on the impact of winning streaks within the rivalry, effects on the SEC race, and ramifications on the national college football landscape.

Honorable Mention: UGA Crushes UF 75-0 (1942), Florida Avenges the Gator Stomp (2008), Overtime (2010), “Half a Hundred in Athens” (1995)
