NFL Scouts Get Last Look at Former Gators on Pro Day

The Gator football team hosted its Pro Day today at its indoor practice facility at the University of Florida. The Gators had 15 of their NFL hopefuls on the field showcasing what they have to offer in front of numerous scouts and front office personnel.

Players who participated in various drills include receiver Roger Dixon, offensive lineman Mason Halter, linebacker Anthony Harrell, defensive lineman Alex McCalister, tight end Jake McGhee, linebacker Antonio Morrison, safety Keanu Neal, receiver Latroy Pittman, defensive back Brian Poole, receiver Demarcus Robinson, running back Kelvin Taylor, offensive lineman Trip Thurman, receiver Valdez Showers, defensive back Vernon Hargreaves, and defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard.

Bullard says despite the importance of today’s event, he was not nervous about practicing in front of everyone. In his senior season, Bullard recorded 66 tackles to go along with six and half sacks.

Hargreaves, who is expected to be drafted the highest among the bunch, will reportedly attend the draft in anticipation of being selected in the first round. He says he went about his drills today the same way he would on any other day.

Hargreaves, who had four interceptions and 33 tackles in his final season, is projected as a top 15 selection on most mock draft boards.

The first day of the 2016 NFL Draft is set to take place on April 28th at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
