Magic Start Slow, Fall to Pacers

Already starting this new year off with four straight losses, the Orlando Magic (19-17)  lost another hard fought game to the Indiana Pacers (20-15) Wednesday night, 95-86.

Despite the losses, the Magic team seems to be improving. The defensive was more crisp than in previous games. The offense, however, was the issue. The Magic turned over the ball to many times, struggled to keep consistent ball movement, and had a rough night from behind the arch, going 6-31.

Three of the young stars continued to shine for the Magic though.  Victor Oladipo led the team in scoring with 20 points, center Nikola Vucevic tallied 17 points, and forward Aaron Gordon grabbed eight rebounds.

Shooting guard, Evan Fournier said the teams inability to hit shots was very frustrating and Vucevic said he was not satisfied with last night’s game as well.

Oladipo says to not give up on the team yet despite the season- high 4 game losing streak.

Paul George led the Pacers with 20 points and seven rebounds.

The Magic look to continue their improved play and hope to stop their losing streak Friday against the Brooklyn Nets (10- 25).
