With the Christmas festivities in the rear view mirror, we take a look at our Friday Sports Update that features some college and NFL football, hoops and more…
** If you like bowl games, eight of them come your way both today and tomorrow. Among them South Carolina-Miami in the Independence Bowl and UCF and North Carolina State in the St.Petersburg Bowl.
** The NFL plays its final weekend of the regular season this weekend with playoff spots and positions on the line. The Florida teams are all in action. Jacksonville is at Houston; Miami hosts the New York Jets and Tampa Bay is at home against New Orleans.
** In the NBA, LeBron James returned to Miami for the first time since leaving the Heat and the home team was not hospitable, downing LeBron’s Cleveland team 101-91.
