The World Series continues, the NBA regular season gets underway, an upset on Monday Night Football and more in our Tuesday Sports Update… ** The San Francisco Giants can win the World Series tonight with a victory in Game 6 in Kansas City; the Giants are up in games 3-2. ** The NBA regular season kicks off tonight with three games including Orlando at New Orleans. The Boston Celtics make some roster cuts and one of
them was former Gator Erik Murphy. ** On Monday Night Football, the Washington Redskins upset the Dallas Cowboys 20-17 in overtime. ** FSU running back Karlos Williams is being investigated by the Tallahassee Police Department about an alleged domestic battery involving his girlfriend. ** The Gator football team’s game at Vanderbilt next week will be a night game and start at 7:30 pm. ** Ole Miss, coming off its first loss of the year in football, also loses one of its top defenders as starting linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche is lost for the season after breaking his ankle last weekend.
