The Florida Gator men’s basketball team will look to improve to 2-1 this season when it faces Arkansas-Little Rock at home Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
The Gators are coming off a 59-53 loss to Wisconsin Tuesday in which sophomore Michael Frazier II led the way with 20 points.
Florida will get back the services of redshirt-sophomore Dorian Finney-Smith, though he is unlikely to play because of a virus he caught while the Gators were in Wisconsin. He had been suspended by coach Billy Donovan for violating team rules.
Point guard Scottie Wilbekin and center Damontre Harris are still suspended indefinitely, and Donovan said that Harris is currently off the team.
This is the first time Florida and Arkansas-Little Rock are playing. Florida is 5-1 against teams in the Sun Belt Conference under Donovan.
Florida has gotten a solid performance from Frazier and senior Casey Prather, who, in two games, have combined for 39.5 points a game. That’s 60.8 percent of Florida’s offense.
The Gators have won 17-straight home games against out-of-conference opponents. They’ll look to make it 18 Saturday.
