The Florida basketball team lost a vital asset when Bradley Beal left for the NBA at the end of last season. What Florida lost, the Washington Wizards gained.
Beal has averaged 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in his rookie year, but he’s recently been sidelined with an injury to his fibula. The injury will force Beal to miss the remainder of the season.
Beal spoke with ESPN Radio 850 about what it was like to face his NBA idols the first time.
Beal also said that Florida head coach Billy Donovan’s coaching style is similar to the pro game.
He hopes to return for the beginning of next season.
