Florida Gator men’s basketball player Demontre Harris was arrested early Wednesday morning for failing to appear in court. He was originally scheduled to appear in court on August 16 after being arrested on July 16 for driving without a license, a second degree misdemeanor, according to court records. He was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The 6’10” center is redshirting this year due to NCAA transfer restrictions. Harris has two years of eligibility remaining. Harris suffered a torn labrum during the preseason and has not been cleared for contact in practice.
