The Dunnellon Tigers face off against the Ocala Forest Wildcats tonight in high school football. Both teams are coming off of wins last week. Dunellon beat West Port, 37-28 and Forest beat Lake Weir 31-7. Dunnellon head coach Frank Beasley is optimistic about his teams’ chances even though Forest has had their number over the past few years.
The lights will be bright on Friday night. Look for a hard fought battle that could turn into a shootout if both offenses play to expectations. Dunnellon will rely heavily on their dual threat senior QB Jordan Boley.
Coach Beasley says his defense will have to keep an eye on Wildcat linebacker Jordan Austin who plays on both sides of the ball.
