After playing 12 of the last 15 games on the road, the number one Florida Gators (28-8/9-6 SEC) start off a homestand at McKethan Stadium by hosting Georgia Southern tonight.
Florida took two out of three this past weekend against SEC rival Tennessee while Georgia Southern did the same against Appalachian State.
Senior righty Greg Larson (3-0, 1.67) will make his second start of the season for the Gators and righty Lucas Hart (1-0, 8.10) will be on the mound for GSU.
In fact, on the mound is where Georgia Southern (22-16) is having issues; the Eagles have a team earned run average of 5.04 on the year. They do hit a respectable .290 as a team with four players hitting above .300.
Last year, the Eagles came to Gainesville and took advantage of four Gators errors to come away with a 7-0 win.
