Gators Baseball Takes On FSU Tonight

The Gators baseball team will be taking a short break from conference play to face Florida State for the second of three regular season meetings this year. The in state rivals will go head to head in a neutral setting in Jacksonville tonight. The Gators claimed the first game with a 9-2 win at home on March 13 which snapped FSU’s 10-game winning streak.

Senior right-hander Greg Larson (3-0, 1.00) will make his fourth career start for the Gators tonight, while junior righty Scott Sitz (1-1, 2.76), will be on the mound for the Seminoles.

FSU could be without starting infielder Devon Travis for the game Tuesday night after he hurt his leg sliding in a game against Wake Forest over the weekend.   He’s hitting over .300 this year and FSU assistant coach Mike Martin Jr. said he will be a game time decision.

You can catch all the action live on Country 103.7 The Gator beginning at 7.
