Seattle Seahawks Beat The Carolina Panthers on SNF

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Carolina Panthers by a score of 40-7. The Seahawks are now 8-3 while the Panthers sit at a record of 4-8.

Game Recap

The Seahawks gained a quick lead when kicker Steven Hauschka kicked a 23-yard field goal, which was followed by an 8-yard touchdown run by running back Thomas Rawls. The Panthers saw a little hope when Cam Newton connected on a 55-yard pass to wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr to put some points on the board, but this was the only scoring action they saw the entire game.

Quickly following that play was a 45 yard run touchdown by Rawls. The rest of the quarter was finished with two more field goals by Hauschka, from the 37 and 31-yard line, making the score 23-7. Just in the first half, Rawls ran for 103-yards and two touchdowns.

After the half, the Seahawks returned with even more fire. In the first 12 seconds back out on the field, a pass off to wide receiver Tyler Lockett lead to a 75-yard run touchdown. The Seahawks finished the game with a 1-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jimmy Graham and another 28-yard field by Hauschka.
