Jaguars Drop 6th Straight in Loss to Bills

The Jacksonville Jaguars gave up the lead in the fourth quarter due to defensive miscues which allowed the Buffalo Bills to win 28-21.

Early on, the Jaguars were in control of the game by going 75 yards on the opening drive and capping it off with a touchdown. Blake Bortles made a big play to keep the drive alive scrambling on a third down and took off down the field for 27 yards.

The Jaguars took the lead into halftime at 7-6 thanks to a Buffalo Bills missed PAT.

But in the second half, a Jaguars’ defense that typically doesn’t give up explosive plays were exposed. LeSean McCoy started things off with a 75 yard touchdown run.

LeSean McCoy finished the day with 103 yards for two TD’s on 19 carries. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor dealt some major damage to the Jaguars on the ground and through the air. Taylor ran for a touchdown in the red zone—scrambling out of the pocket and using his speed to run away from Jaguar linebackers.

The Buffalo Bills did just enough to edge out a victory against the Jags. This is the sixth straight loss for the Jags who are now (2-9). The season won’t get any easier as they host the Denver Broncos next week in Jacksonville.

Bills Playoff Hopes

The Bills remain in the hunt for the playoffs—improving to a (6-5) record. Head Coach Rex Ryan says the will keep grinding the rest of the season. Next up for the Bills is the AFC West surprise of the year, the (9-2) Oakland Raiders.
