The Florida Gators men’s tennis team (14-11 overall, 8-6 SEC play) is the No. 29 seed in NCAA rankings, just making it into the NCAA bracket. But, the Florida women’s tennis team (9-14 overall, 4-11 SEC play) is the No. 34 seed, falling short of getting a spot in the NCAA tournament.

Gators Men’s Tennis
Florida won its first match of the SEC tournament 4-2 against Arkansas, which is the Gators second win against the Razorbacks this season.
Florida lost in the SEC tournament quarterfinals to No. 13 South Carolina, 4-1. After this match, Florida landed at No. 32 in the rankings. But, they have moved up, securing their spot in the tournament.

The NCAA first and second rounds are set for May 3-4.
Gators Women’s Tennis
The women’s team ended the regular season with five straight losses to SEC opponents before entering the postseason.
Florida fell to Vanderbilt in the second round of the SEC tournament, 4-0. Originally ranked No. 47, Florida has since moved up to No. 34, a mere two spots away from qualifying.
The women’s tennis championships are set for May 15-18, but as of now, the team will not be playing in the tournament.
Gator Honors
Two Gators women’s players earned postseason honors. No. 53 Alicia Dudeney was named to First Team honors for the first time in her collegiate career, and No. 19 Rachel Gailis earned Second Team honors.
On the men’s squad, Adhithya Ganesan has tapped into the top 50 of the ITA singles rankings at No. 47. Doubles pair Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson are ranked No. 12 in ITA doubles rankings.
