Oklahoma City Tramples Miami Heat

Monday was not a good night for Florida’s two NBA teams.

While the Magic were getting ripped apart by the Chicago Bulls, the Miami Heat lost on the road to Oklahoma City Monday night, 97-85.

The Thunder gained a lead in the first quarter and never let go. Twelve minutes into the first quarter, the Heat trailed OKC by more than ten points.Luke Babbit and James Johnson led Miami with seven points each at the time. Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra explained that the Thunder controlled the game.

The top play of the game goes to the Thunder’s Steve Adams, who rejected a shot from his old teammate No. 11 Dion Waters.

It wasn’t all negative for the Heat, however. Hassan Whiteside extended his career-long streak to 35 straight games with a blocked shot.
