Florida Gators athletics will be spread out this upcoming weekend. With a total of 16 events, only one will be home.
Friday
Women’s golf will start the day bright and early on the greens. The women will be playing 18 holes in the Chattanooga Classic in Tennessee. Track and field will stay in the Sunshine State to travel to Tallahassee, Florida, to compete in the FSU Relays.
Gators baseball will stay in Mississippi for the second day of their series against Ole Miss. After a grand slam start to its season, the team is now seeming to struggle with a current four-game loss streak and drops in the rankings. Men’s swimming and diving will also launch into their second day of the NCAA Championships across the country in Washington state.
Women’s tennis is the only event that will be in Gator country for the weekend. The team will be facing off against University of Arkansas in the evening. Volleyball will start their spring season in enemy territory down south in Orlando. The University of Central Florida will host the Gators. No. 4 Florida softball will travel to play Auburn University. After their 13-12 overtime win against Penn State, No. 7 Gators lacrosse will travel to California to face-off against UC Davis.
