The Florida Gator volleyball team has done it again. The Gators have swept LSU (25-15, 25-20, 25-11) while playing in Baton Rouge.
The ninth ranked Gators are now 15-2 while the Tigers sit at 7-11 on the season.
It was a great night for red shirt sophomore setter Allie Monserez who logged a match-high 32 assists and a career-high of 16 digs, making it her third double-double performance of the year. While teammate outside hitter Carli Snyder added 12 kills and 10 digs for the team.
The Gators were able to gather up 52 points, 40 kills and seven aces. Meanwhile LSU only tallied 33 points, 29 kills and one ace.
Florida’s great performance led to another efficient hitting night of .314 for Florida while defensively the Gators held LSU to a .067 clip, making it the eighth time this season and second consecutive match that the team held the opponent under a .100 hitting clip.

The Gators now prepare themselves to face Texas A&M on Sunday before coming home to play against Mississippi State on Friday.
