New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones dropped back for a pass late in the fourth quarter. Down 14-3 to the Seattle Seahawks, he needed to make a play. Instead. he gave up an interception — his second turnover of the night. Seahawks rookie Devon Witherspoon took the pick back 97 yards for a touchdown to cap off the scoring and properly summarize the Monday Night Football matchup.
The Seahawks (3-1) defeated New York (1-3) 24-3 in dominating fashion Monday. The Giants were shut out beyond a Graham Gano field goal in the second quarter.

Seattle came out firing from the very first quarter as a forced fumble led quarterback Geno Smith to a touchdown connection with DK Metcalf. Smith went 13-20 with 110 yards and touchdown despite missing three drives in the game with a leg injury.
The Giants went turnover on downs, punt, fumble and punt again before Gano found the uprights for their only score. Jones finished 27-34 with 203 yards and two picks. He also led the team with 60 rushing yards on 10 attempts. New York failed to score again as things spiraled further into the game. Seattle responded with a touchdown from Kenneth Walker III, who finished with the score and 79 yards.
New York had a slim window after the Seahawks began the second half with a turnover on downs and missed field goal. Jones drove the team down the field down just two scores before tossing his second pick and watching any chance at a win run 97 yards to the other end zone for a Seattle touchdown. The Seahawks kicked one more field goal for good measure late in the fourth quarter and left with the win.

The Seahawks improve to 3-1, trailing only the undefeated San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West. They have a bye for Week 5, but return against the struggling Cincinnati Bengals for Week 6.
The Giants fall to 1-3 and leave many questions to be answered. Jones’ decision making was self-admittedly poor. The offense looks stagnant without the help of Saquon Barkley. New York takes on the Miami Dolphins next week as the Giants to crawl out of the bottom of the NFC East.
