Texas A&M will face Arkansas in a neutral site matchup at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Saturday at noon.
When these two SEC West rivals met last year, the Aggies narrowly defeated the Razorbacks 23-21. Despite this, the Razorbacks hold the all time series lead 42-34-3.
Razorbacks’ Last Time Out
Last week, the Razorbacks fell to LSU 34-31 despite a 13-10 lead at halftime. Arkansas scored a game-tying touchdown with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. But, ultimately, the Tigers won after a 20-yard Damian Ramos field goal. This game marks the fourth straight meeting that has been decided by just three points.
After starting the season 2-0, the Razorbacks have gone on a two-game slide, losing to both Baylor and LSU.
Aggies’ Last Time Out
Texas A&M kicked off its conference slate with a 27-10 victory over Auburn. Quarterback Max Johnson threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns in the second half after coming into the game to replace starter Conner Weigman, who was injured late in the second quarter.
One highlight of the game was Johnson’s 22-yard touchdown pass to his younger brother, Jake Johnson, to extend the Aggies’ lead to 13-3.

Despite losing the time of possession battle, the Aggies’ defense held strong, allowing just 200 yards of total offense.
Key Players to Watch
For the Aggies, it’s going to be Max Johnson. It was confirmed that Conner Weigman sustained a right foot injury that will sideline him for the rest of the season; therefore, the offense will be turned over to Johnson. Last time he faced the Razorbacks, Johnson completed 11 of 21 passes for 151 yards.
On the Razorbacks’ side, it will be wide receiver Andrew Armstrong, who has become quarterback KJ Jefferson’s favorite target. The Texas A&M-Commerce transfer has hauled in 24 catches for 273 yards and three TDs through his first four games with the Razorbacks.
