Oak Hall improved to 4-0 Friday with a 57-6 football win over the Bronson Eagles.
After an impressive 70-14 win a week ago, the Eagles kept flying high at home.

Oak Hall quarterback Dakota Brower threw to receiver Aaron Akins for a 58-yard touchdown on the game’s first play from scrimmage and added the two-point conversion for the 8-0 lead.

The Oak Hall defense shut down Bronson (0-4) on its first drive, forcing a three-and-out.
Getting the ball back at its 40-yard line, Oak Hall quickly attacked. On the first play of the drive, running back Abram Jerkins broke off a 42-yard rush. Moments later, running back Briggs Copeland took a sweep for an 18-yard touchdown. Brower rushed for the two-point conversion to give Oak Hall a 16-0 lead.
Oak Hall Dominance
Oak Hall’s firepower didn’t let up, as the Eagles scored on their next four drives before the half. Jerkins, Copeland and running back Sirderick Farley rushed for scores of 25, 34 and 3 yards, respectively. Receiver Daniel Grow also caught a 43-yard touchdown pass from Brower to give Oak Hall a 43-0 advantage at intermission.

The Oak Hall defense also aided in the dominant first half, forcing three turnovers to give Brower and the offense a short field multiple times.
Aaron Akins took over at quarterback in the second half for the Eagles, completing touchdown passes of 30 and 39 yards to running back Bear Wooley and Farley in the third quarter for the 57-0 lead.

Oak Hall coach RJ Fuhr emphasized the offense’s hard work showing up in scoring 127 points the past two games.
He also praised his defensive front’s work to stop the Bronson run attack.
Copeland, who scored four touchdowns in the past two weeks, credited his offense’s success to communication and practice.
“Over the summer, we practiced our routes and got the timing down with Dakota (quarterback),” Copeland said.
The Oak Hall offense has “great timing, great rhythm and… communication” and that they’re “really starting to become a solid team,” he said
