Cleveland Cavaliers – New York Knicks (107-90)

After problems with Game 1 due to physicality from the Knicks, Cleveland stepped up to tie the series 1-1.

All-Star point guard for Cleveland, Darius Garland, came back with a sensational game 2 after struggling to show out during the debut game. During the first quarter, the Cavaliers faced a 13-6 deficit, but Garland brought fuel to the flame when he scored back-to-back three-pointers. Garland finished the game with 26 points and scored 4-of-6 three-point shots.

Despite the Knicks finishing the regular season third in the NBA offensive rating, New York struggled offensively during Game 2. As a team, the Knicks scored just 36.7% and 7-for-29 from the three-point line.

By the time the game reached the second quarter, the Knicks were outscored by 17 points and were unable to come back. In the end, the Cavaliers escaped the Knicks by defeating them 107-90.

Philadelphia 76ers – Brooklyn Nets (96-84)

The 76ers continue to hold a 2-0 series lead over the Brooklyn Nets. The 76ers were 37.5% on shooting, outscoring Brooklyn 52-35 in the second half of the game.

Joel Embiid finished the game with a game-high of 19 rebounds, 20 points and seven assists. Embiid’s 20 points now move him past Wilt Chamberlain for the 10th most points in the 76ers’ playoff history.

Philadelphia has contributed a strong defensive side so far, allowing 101.6 points per 100 possessions per game. On top of that, they’ve generated more than 25 free throw attempts.

Boston Celtics – Atlanta Hawks (119-106)

The Celtics are now leading the series 2-0 after taking down the Atlanta Hawks 119-106 on Tuesday night.

Jayson Tatum finished the game with 29 points including a vehement dunk to secure the game towards the end. As the Hawks began doubling on attempts, Tatum handled the Boston offense with his passing.

Derrick White continues to lift the Celtics. With 22 points during Game 1, White did not hold back, piling up another 26 points during Game 2.

After a valiant attempt during Game 1, the Hawks brought aggression at the start of Game 2. The Hawks managed to hit 8-of-14 shots at first to bring them to an early 22-11 lead. However, it was short-lived as the Celtics responded by picking up defensively and eventually forcing nine straight misses and five turnovers by the Hawks.
