The Brooklyn Nets fell to Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers 96-84 Monday night. The Sixers now lead the Nets 2-0 in their first-round playoff series.

After falling 121-110 in Game 1, the Nets held the lead for the first half of Game 2. Cameron Johnson, who ended the night with 28 points, scored 22 points on 69.2% shooting in the first half.
With help from Dorian Finney-Smith and Mikal Bridges, Brooklyn led 49-44 at the intermission. The Sixers had 14 turnovers and shot 42.5% in the half.

The Nets struggled to find momentum in the second half, however, as they were only able to come up with 14 points in the third quarter.
The Sixers carried momentum into the fourth, scoring 28 points in the final frame to give them the crucial victory.
Maxey was a major factor in the win for Philly. He scored 33 points on the night, shooting 57.6% with six three-pointers.
Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris were each responsible for 20 points. Embiid also added 19 rebounds and seven assists, rounding out an impressive stat line despite the somewhat low-scoring.
