LSU Hosts Missouri on Senior Night

The LSU Tigers host the Missouri Tigers in an SEC matchup Wednesday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Missouri is coming off of an 85-63 win against Georgia and currently holds a 21-8 record on the year. On the flip side, LSU has struggled immensely on the year, losing its last game to Ole Miss 82-69. The Tigers are 13-16 this year.

Senior Night

Wednesday’s game is LSU’s final home game of the regular season and the team will honor two seniors in Parker Edwards and KJ Williams. Edwards has been at LSU for four years after transferring from Southeastern Louisiana. Williams has made himself a part of basketball history at LSU, becoming the 123rd player to record 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in his career. Williams is also just the 16th player in LSU history to record 500 points and 200 rebounds in a season.

LSU is 10-7 at home but is 2-14 against SEC opponents. Its last conference win came against Vanderbilt back in January. On the other hand, Missouri is 4-5 on the road and 9-7 against SEC opponents.
