With football season right around the corner and Gator football practice set to start on August 4, two Gator freshmen standouts have allegedly gotten themselves into some trouble.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, freshmen wide receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Rick Wells were arrested early Monday morning and charged with felony criminal mischief for damaging property as well as shooting a missile inside an occupied dwelling, also a felony.

According to a UF Police Department report, the two allegedly fired BB guns at the Keys Residential complex causing more that $1,000 worth of damage.
The full arrest report indicates that Cleveland and Wells were shooting at someone inside the north door of building No. 4 at the Keys Residential Complex.
Cleveland and Wells both grew up in Jacksonville before Cleveland moved to Houston to finish out his high school career.
In Cleveland’s senior year he caught 46 passes for 982 yards (21.3 avg.) and scored 14 receiving touchdowns. He also had a punt return and two kickoff return touchdowns. Cleveland played in the 2016 Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando.
Wells had 29 receptions for 512 yards and six touchdowns aw well as leading his team to the Class 4A state championship game in 2015 with an 12-2 record.
