Week Three in the NFL will conclude later tonight when the Green Bay Packers (1-1) visit the Seattle Seahawks (1-1) on Monday Night Football. However, all of the other results are in the books.
The Jacksonville Jaguars were the lone Florida team to come away with a win on Sunday. The Jaguars enjoyed a 22-17 comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts in Lucas Oil Stadium. Jags head coach Mike Mularkey says his team had a great attitude despite being down 14-3 after the first half.
Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew carried the ball 28 times on Sunday for 177 yards and found the end zone. However, it was Jacksonville quarterback Blaine Gabbert who sealed the deal connecting with wide receiver Cecil Shorts III for an 80 yard TD with 45 seconds remaining in the game.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the Dallas Cowboys 16-10 in Cowboys Stadium. Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman was just 10 for 28 passing for 110 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Freeman says it was a tough loss but adds the defense kept them in the game.
The Miami Dolphins fell to the New York Jets 23-20 in overtime in Sun Life Stadium. New York kicker Nick Folk booted the game winning 33 yard field goal in overtime defeating their AFC East rival. Miami kicker Dan Carpenter was wide left on a 48 yard attempt that could have sealed a win for the Fins earlier in the contest and he also missed a 47 yard attempt early in the fourth quarter.
Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill was 13 for 36 for 196 yards and an interception. Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin says not being able to move the ball in key situations is why they find themselves at 1-2.

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the New England Patriots 31-30 on Sunday Night Football. Baltimore rookie kicker Justin Tucker was able to win it for the Ravens on a 27-yard field goal in the closing seconds. The story of the game was Baltimore wideout Torrey Smith who was grieving the loss of his younger brother who had passed away earlier in the day; despite the tragedy, Smith caught six passes for 127 yards and scored two touchdowns.
The Kansas City Chiefs came away with a 27-24 road win in overtime against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints became the eighth team in NFL history to start 0-3 after winning 13 games the previous season.
The Minnesota Vikings upset the San Francisco 24-13 led by Minnesota quarterback Christian Ponder; the Houston Texans enjoyed four touchdown passes from quarterback Matt Schaub to improve to 3-0 defeating the Denver Broncos 31-25; the Tennessee Titans won a 44-41 overtime thriller over the Detroit Lions and the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, and the Oakland Raiders also all came away with wins.
