Freshman Devin Moore joined Steve Russell on Sports Scene to discuss he first semester as a Gator and spring practice with Billy Napier.
The Gators football program as been on the rise with the hire of new head coach Billy Napier. Napier has assembled one heck of a team, from bringing in recruits, adding players and early freshman enrollment. The Gators football program is on the upside.
Cornerback Moore, committed to Florida Dec. 12, 2021. He is an early enrollment for this 2022 Gators program. He joined this spring, and has been participating in spring practice preparing for the orange and blue game April 14.

Freshman Devin Moore
Before starting Florida Moore was a four-star prospect coming out of high school. Moore had many accolades before entering his first college semester. He posted 24 tackles with five interceptions in his senior year. Also, being named an Adidas All-American. Moore had numerous offers before his commitment to Florida, from big name schools such as Alabama and LSU.
While in high school Moore played basketball and participated in track and field, but fell in love with football at young age.

Not seeing my family big I’m a big family guy. I like spending a lot of time with them so, you know just going out on my own not having those daily interactions.

Very big on the level of details, breaks it down to the smallest details that really allows us to improve every practice and even in the film room helps us to strive to be perfection.
What his education means to him at Florida:
During his time at Florida as Moore pursues his college football career, he plans on studying finance while getting a minor in real estate.
