Raptors Take Game 4, Tie Up Eastern Conference Finals with Cavs

The Toronto Raptors took advantage of their home court on Monday night when they faced the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Raptors evened up the series against the Cavs with a 105-99 win in Game 4 on Monday night. With this win, the Raptors are now 8-2 at home for postseason play.

Kyle Lowery and Demar DeRozan were a huge factor in the Raptors win on Monday night. Lowery scored 35 points and DeRozan was right behind him with 32.

The Cavs made three free throws in the third quarter and only two in the fourth. As for the Raptors, in the fourth quarter alone they made 12 of their 19 free throws.

The next challenge for the Raptors will be heading back to Cleveland and play Game 5 on the road. One of the most challenging parts of the postseason for the Raptors has been road games which they are currently 2-6 during the playoffs.

For Cleveland, this is the first time they have lost consecutive games to an Eastern Conference opponent since 2010 where they lost the final three games of the conference semifinals to Boston.

Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas is still out because of an ankle sprain during the third quarter of Game 3 against Miami.

The Raptors will face the Cavs in Game 5 of the series on Wednesday night in Cleveland starting at 8:30 p.m.
